"Downtown's' Got Talent" Rules:

1. Downtowns Got Talent is open to all residents of all age groups.
2. Performers may compete as either an individual or as a group but are not allowed to enter both individually and with a group as another contestant
3. A basic sound system will be provided. Performers must provide their own form of music and any amplification of instruments/music players.
4. Performers must be prepared for quick set up and break-down between performances. The space provided will be a riser stage, approximately 20' x 10' and limited front of stage area.
5. Performers will be chosen based on slots available, variety of acts, and discretion of Downtown's Got Talent program staff.
6. Performers will perform on the program in the order determined by Downtown Staff.
7. Each performer will have a 2 ½ minute minimum to 5 minute maximum performance slot in the program.
8. As this is a public show at a family event, all performers will be mindful of their material to be appropriate for an audience of all ages. As determined by staff, any inappropriate music, or disrespectful behavior will result in removal from the program.
9. The performance will take place Fridays from 7PM to 9:30PM at the Center Court at Downtown at the Gardens. Performers will arrive by a 6PM check-in prepared to perform.
10. Performers must agree that any photographs or video recordings made at the event can be used by the Downtown at the Gardens for any marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to use on Downtown's website or social media pages and be willing to sign a release agreement. Performers under 18 years of age will have co-signature parental consent.

Notice to Applicants

Applicants are chosen at the sole discretion of the Downtown's Got Talent Team and may be selected for reasons including but not limited to variety in style, age, and talent. Performers will be notified via phone or email if their application is accepted and must respond timely to confirm their participation. Applications may be submitted at anytime during the competition.

A combination of a panel of judge's decision and audience response will determine each evening winner as well as the Grand Prize winner. Winners will be announced each evening of the competition and may receive gift cards, cash, and/or prizes. Winners will return and participate in a "Grand Finale" event in which a Grand Prize will be awarded to one winning act. Winners returning for the Grand Finale may use the same act/song/etc. or chose to present another act/song/etc. with the same performers. In case of rain or inclement weather resulting in cancelled performances all performers scheduled to perform must contact the below email for rescheduling.

Downtown at the Gardens reserves the right to make any changes to the competition at any time prior and during the Downtown's Got Talent promotion.
