In June 2009, Rockville, Maryland based Berman Enterprises LP assumed ownership of Downtown at the Gardens, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. With more than a half-century of real estate experience coupled with a strong work ethic, Berman Enterprises will invigorate Downtown at the Gardens and create a thriving center for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Berman Enterprises is a multi-generational real estate holding company founded on the principles of hard work, integrity, hands-on management and philanthropy. Employing a conservative financial strategy, the company has experienced sustained growth since brothers Melvin J. Berman and Wolford Berman founded the company in 1952. Melvin's son Dennis and Wolford's son Gary joined the business in 1977 and oversee the company's business development and philanthropic endeavors. Dennis' sons Brian and Jeffrey and Gary's sons Kevin, Casey, and Adam handle the day-to-day business operations.

Berman Enterprises and its affiliates control over 4.5 million square feet of commercial office and retail space in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Many of the properties in the portfolio were acquired as under-utilized real estate. Through Berman Enterprises' diligent management, these properties have been transformed into vital centers for business and leisure.
